This week we are shining a light on our Marketing Manager, Elaine Armstrong as she shares why she decided to join the team, what she likes most about her role, talks company culture and more.

Q: What do you like most about your role?

A: I really enjoy the variety of work that a start-up brings, no day is the same for me, it’s a constant adventure and I love that. I also like working closely with and learning from the founders who all hail from different backgrounds and have a lot of wisdom to impart.

Q: Why did you decide to join Syndeo?

A: I was drawn to the enthusiasm and excitement the founders have for marketing and the value they place in it. I saw a young tech company that punched well above its weight, already working with global brands that I could really help take to its next stage of growth and I wanted to be a part of that.

Q: How would you describe the culture at Syndeo?

A: There is a genuine spirit of co-operation and shared goals at Syndeo. Everyone knows what they are working towards and are dedicated to achieving these goals. This helps to create a truly collaborative and open working environment.

Q: Tell us an interesting fact about yourself.

A: I studied Politics at university and was considering a career in journalism before going down the marketing path.

Q: What do you like to do in your free time?

A: I love nothing more than spending my free time with family and friends – going for walks in the countryside and catching up over a cup of a tea in many of Northern Ireland’s quirky little cafes and coffee shops. You will also find me most weekends standing on football sidelines (rain, hail or shine) supporting my two sons.
